I bought this along with another guidebook. This one is in paragraph form, which might work if I had the time to sit down and read it cover to cover. The other book I bought was Baby Bargains. I highly recommend that one - easy to use.

As a long time subscriber to CR magazine I was really disappointed with this book. I expected to find many more ratings/buying charts for specific models (like the magazine). Instead however it is more of a general review (often times incomplete) for products such as car seats, strollers, cribs etc, which tells you what to look for when shopping for these items. I would have preferred to see specific manufacturers and models listed with test results that showcase why one is better/safer than the other.

The wicker gift basket I bought for myself didn't come with the Bath poof as advertised but rather three baby washclothes. The duck was cute but I guess the washclothes are just as useful. I really love Baby Magic Products and this was a good price for so many of their items.
