My daughter is very tall so it is difficult to get her into the car without hitting her head in the ceiling of the car even though we have a SUV. Otherwise, it is good car seat.

My son easily converts from britax chaperone to britax boulevard. he was only 5 months when he begins to not fit on the chaperone so i did lots of research and read lots of review when i finally bought the boulevard and i was so happy with it. My son is very comfortable sitting on it, i have a small SUV but it still fits good even if we have to move the seat since my husband has long legs. I purchased another 1 for my husbands car which is a van and it was perfect for it. The belt wont twist unlike the other car seats that i have tested before. easy to place on the car and 5 point harness makes a big difference. I would recommend this product to anybody who asked me on whats the best carseat. It is pricey but worth it.

We have had this car seat for about 6 months and love it! Our criteria for a car seat was: extra safety features, easy to install (because we switch it between two cars), and comfortable for him to sleep in. I love the added side padding and it doubles as a headrest for when he is napping. It is fairly easy to install, especially with the Latch system. it is a little more challenging to use a seat belt due to the small space the seat belt goes through, but doable. It is easy to adjust and the seat belt does not get wrapped around and tangled every time we take him out, which was an issue with our last car seat. It is big, but we have no problem fitting it in my Outback. We have only used it forward facing though, which could make a difference. I would definitely recommend it!

My wife and I really like this car seat. It is so much easier to use than the Graco seat we were using before. Our daughter seems to like it much more to because it has more room for her.

Our kids seem to be very comfortable riding in these seats. Being that Consumer Reports rates them highest in safety the comfort was a great bonus. They weren't difficult to install and seem to be made of great quality materials and construction. The only set-back for us is that our kids' heads flop forward when they sleep in them, (which is what I hear of all non-infant seats). It would be nice to be able to recline them just another inch but I guess that wouldn't be safe in a collision.

We just got the second Britax for second kiddo, first seat was bought in early 2009. Overall we are very satisfied with the seats and the kids seem to be comfortable even on long rides. Downsides of the solid construction are the wight and size which makes placing seats in different cars cumbersome and installation in smaller than midsize cars a very tight fit.
Like other reviewers before, I don't think the "click" function is essential and it quit working on the first seat after about a good year.
Nevertheless, would buy it again if I ever needed another one.

This is the second Britax Boulevard car seat that we own. We bought this one for our youngest son, since we absolutely love the first one that we still currently use. Our oldest child who is 2.5 years old loves it. Its very comfortable, durable and I highly recommend it to children of different sizes and ages. I especially like their CS feature, because no guessing is involved - you hear the click and you know that your child is buckled up safely and correctly.

My son really likes this car-seat. I have a 2000 RX-300 and it fit in the car pretty good. He falls right to sleep every morning on our way to day-care and seems to be pretty comfortable.
The only trouble I sometimes have is that I have to make sure I duck his head down while putting him in and taking him out. The seat sits pretty high and the opening to the door on the RX-300 is not that big.
I read about the short buckle around the crotch area and was concerned about this before the purchase.
After having used the product for a month I can say that I don't think it is much of an issue, but does require some attention.
I had one bad experience with it so I will advise that you do need be mindful while buckling in your kid.
I pinched my sons leg and made him cry when I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. This made me and him very sad.
It's safe to say that will never happen again. Now I am very cautious and make sure to move his legs out of the way as I buckle him in.

Got this for my son when he turned 1. Didn't use it rear-facing for very long, but I loved it. Just as amazing forward-facing. Our little guy is so comfy in it. He falls asleep on almost every car-ride. He loves being able to see out the windows. We have a mid-size sedan and it does fit very easily. Installation was a snap. Instructions are very clear. Definitely recommend it!
