Awesome shoe!

(Score 5/5)

I have been wearing these shoes for 6 years now. Every year I buy the updated model of the same shoe. Once you find a running shoe that fits there is no reason to ever shop around again. Before spending the money though, I would suggest hitting a running store and having them evaluate your feet to tell you what type of shoe you need. A good fit is important to help you stay injury free. Once they find you a good fit you can just re-buy that same shoe for years to come. Initially it might be a bit more expensive as you will feel obligated to buy the shoe from the specialty running shop. But,for following purchases you can just hop online and buy the shoe from the cheapest vendor. This has been a great shoe for me!

Good overall running shoe

(Score 4/5)

I've tried many running shoes (I run marathons although would call myself an amateur runner), and by trial and error and advice of other runners found this shoe. Brooks Adrenaline is an all-around good shoe. Good support without being too tight through the toes. For long distance running I get 1 size larger than my regular shoes - I wear 6.5 and get 7.5 for running. I tie the laces all the way to the end to avoid my foot slipping forward and banging my toes. The GTS7 is an older model but got this for $30 less than the most recent model and honestly I haven't found they have changed much so it is a good value.

TOO WIDE

(Score 1/5)

I've gone through two pairs of the Adrenaline GTS 6 and loved them. However, the GTS 7 is terrible! They are way too wide for my feet and I ordered a B. My legs hurt from beginning to end of a dozen runs so I'm giving up. Since GTS 6 is discontinued, I'm going to have to go on a quest to find another shoe. Brooks, why must we fix something that isn't broken?

Extremely comfortable shoe

(Score 5/5)

This is an excellent running shoe for someone who likes a soft cushioned sole and a roomy toe. I have worn them for 12 years and keep buying them again and again; I've tried other models and brands, but none of them has been this comfortable.

As noted, there is a lot of cushioning in the sole; I walk 2-4 miles a day in them on city pavement, and stand a lot in my job, and my feet don't feel achy at the end of the day. I have also worn them on multiple-mile hikes on varied terrain with a lot of comfort.

Many running shoes have a straight last, which for me means either that the toes are too narrow or the heels are too loose. The 882 has a wide, rounded toe so there is a lot of toe room while the heel still fits snugly. I haven't found many shoes designed that way, so if you have that kind of fit problem, you will love this shoe.

I also wash the shoes and they come out very well, and the non-slip laces don't come undone. Altogether, they are my favorite shoes for a wide variety of activities.

Great shoes

(Score 5/5)

These are the best shoes for you if you are on your feet alot. I work in the warehouse of a hospital and I am constantly on my feet. The wide flat bottoms give excellent support. I recommended them to my co-workers and most of them wear them now too. Excellent quality shoes at a very convenient price.
