Chicco Capri Stroller
(Score 5/5)
Great Stroller. 1/2 the price of the Maclaren but all the features. Only drawback would be if your child is tall, his/her head may reach the top of the back of the stroller quickly . My little girl is small for 2 years so this stroller is a perfect fit for her and should last us a while. Used on our first trip to Philadelphia with her - on the train, the subway, and the bus - and was perfect.

Should have bought this stroller earlier!
(Score 5/5)
We bought the Chicco Capri stroller last week and we're extremely pleased with the purchase. Our main reasons for choosing this particular model was that we were looking for a very lightweight stroller that could be opened/closed with one hand while holding the baby in the other. We live in a second floor apartment (in a building without an elevator) and it was just getting too difficult to drag a 20+ lb. stroller up and down the stairs while holding my six month old (who's also around 20 lbs.). This stroller is very easy to open, lock into position as well as to fold up. There's even an automatic locking device which doesn't require you to bend down that prevents the stroller from opening up once you've closed it. There's also a strap which allows you to carry it hands-free - it kind of looks like you're carrying a set of golf clubs except much, much lighter. The stroller moves around nicely; it feels solid and sturdy and at an excellent price.
The canopy on this stroller is pretty big and gives a good amount of coverage from the sun. One of the snaps on the canopy fell off as I was trying to attach it. I called Chicco and they said that another part should arrive within a week - very good customer service. There's a one year warranty on the stroller from the date of purchase.
As for some of the downfalls, I don't know if my son is as comfortable in this stroller as he is in our other one. I wish the seat part was a little longer because my son's little legs just sort of hang off of it. But, I think that's a fair trade-off considering the advantages of this type of stroller.
All in all, I would recommend this stroller to anyone who's looking for a lightweight, portable, and easy-to-use stroller.

Easy to Use and Lightweight
(Score 5/5)
This is our second stroller. We have a larger one with an integrated/removable car seat.
The canopy on this one works well and this stroller is built solid enough, yet is very lightweight. I actually prefer this one over the larger, bulkier one that we have.
It does have some minor issues though. It is hard to lock when folded up, because it does not clip closed easily.
We also kick wheels while walking. Your mileage may vary depending on the size of your feet. Our baby seems to like it, but sometimes slumps over do to the way the support straps are positioned and the stoller's seat flat back.
One additional nice feature is that the there is a piece of fabric that folds over the latch that snaps the straps together.
Recommended.

Average...poor quality
(Score 2/5)
I purchased this stroller after purchasing the chicco keyfit carseat stroller combo. I was really impressed with the quality and durability. This stroller does not match up. I should have listened to the other reviews, as it has quite a few annoyances. The basket underneath is pretty much useless. I can fit a sippy cup, a few diapers, wipes and changing pad and a munchie mug, but not much else. You cannot fit even a small lunch bag there. In the pictures, it seems like you will be able to put things in the basket with the kid in the stroller, but that room gets scrunched with the child in the seat and you have to fish items out of the side. This normally wouldn't be annoying, because you can hang your diaper bag from the handles with your rubber bungees. When I hang my diaper bag from the stroller handles (even with the little bungee attachments that make it higher, it is hard to walk with because you lose precious space to hold the handles (walk a little farther back), which are low for me and I am 5'3. It is really annoying for my husband to push because the handles are so low. The buckles on the straps are also very annoying. They have that moving plastic clasp part that attaches the straps and the buckle, and I constantly have to move it out of the way to buckle in (it gets near where the buckle needs to squeeze together to fit and I have to wiggle it out of the way). The worst part is that it is made so cheaply that after 3 weeks of use, my plastic clasp broke when my son (only 14 months) pulled on the strap, so now I cannot use it because if he pulls hard enough, the strap comes loose). The last annoyance is that the crotch strap is not very long and I am constantly pushing my son back into the seat so I can buckle him in. I used cloth diapers for the first 6 months and I cannot imagine being able to buckle him in with a cloth diaper on. I am pretty disappointed and I guess I will be contacting Chicco for a replacement part. I wish I had purchased something else.

Disappointing
(Score 2/5)
I bought a secondhand Chicco liteway stroller from someone on Craigslist and LOVED it! It was so solid and comfortable. But unfortunately it became damaged and I had to find something new. I decided to go with the Capri, since my son is getting bigger (he's 2 and a half) and I mostly just needed something for travel. I do not like it at all. It is difficult to push (the wheels often get stuck) and it feels flimsy. Also, the clip that holds it when it is collapsed is not easy to clip. When we took the train at Disneyland I was always stressing to clip it in time to board. I always am the one who gets stuck pushing it because everyone else in my family hates it. It's definitely better than a cheap umbrella stroller, but not by much. The basket underneath is so small, you can put very little there. If you just want something to push to the park, it's probably not bad, but if you are going to use it regularly and for extended time (like a trip to Disneyland) I think the next step up is worth the extra money.

Awesome stroller!

Purchased this stroller for my 2 1/2 yr old who is 39" tall and is 37 lbs. This is a beautiful stroller. Easy to put together (actually my 16 yr old put it together for me). However, the stroller does not accommodate a taller toddler. Her head was about 5" above the back rest and she looked "stuffed" into the stroller. Like I said I love the stroller itself. It is sturdy, has a nice size basket underneath, and handles are perfect height. I just wish it were a little wider and taller! I would even toss the canopy aside and add more inches to the back rest! Hope Graco is listening!

Great stroller
(Score 5/5)
We bought this stroller instead of an umbrella stroller as we're both tall. It's been great. We've taken it all over the world - it folds up very small and is very handy. Our 2.5 year old still fits in it fine. We've had no trouble with the quality. The only thing missing is a parent console for drinks.

Fixable issues...it really is a great strolle
(Score 4/5)
I was almost one of the people to write a negative review regarding the sitting position. I went so far as to call Graco customer service to send back the stroller. The woman asked me if something in the back was looped through so that the seat worked properly. I told her I think so, that I used the stroller straight from the box. Well, my husband finally looked at it and realized that it wasn't, and fixed it. I didn't watch him do it, but it completely solved the problem of the wimpy upright position! Yay. We were also having an issue with the adjustable leg rest, and my husband found that something wasn't threaded on that properly. And, people complain of the umbrella on it, too, which needed to be adjusted, too. Now, why the stroller wasn't properly threaded in the first place is beyond me. I wish I could give a detailed explanation of what he did to fix it, but I can't...my son is trying to sabotage the computer. It is a great great great stroller now!

NOT a stroller for tall people
(Score 3/5)
I am a mother of a 6-month old, 13 lb baby girl. I bought this stroller after doing three months of research on over 50 strollers. I would read reviews, and bought this stroller based on the advice of others: they had no trouble with hitting the back wheels when they walked. Unfortunately, this was not true for me (5'9") or my husband (5'10"). I returned it after four days (Amazon has a free returns policy on some items).
Positives: The stroller handles VERY well- will turn easily. The handles are so soft and plush- wonderful for gripping. If you are between 5'0" and 5'5", it would probably work wonderfully. But if you have long legs, your feet WILL always bump the rear tires, so you can't walk at a "normal" gait. If I could I would cut the handles off and lengthen them. The handles to tire relationship is the only negative about the stroller. The seat is very padded, and reclines nicely. It also has a 5-point harness which can become a 3-point harness as the child grows.
Be sure to keep the packaging (ALL the packaging) until you are certain you won't want to return it. If it works for you, this is the Best stroller I have found. But I am a picky mother, and I want to enjoy my walks with my little girl, not be always concerned about tripping over my own stroller. So this stroller didn't work for me.
Overall, some great qualities, but structurally does not work for tall people, or should I say people with long legs. :)

Still Perfect After 2 Years!
(Score 5/5)
I bought this stroller 25 months ago to use for a newborn (who is now 2) and I love it. I went to a local baby specialty store and tried out all the fancy high priced "umbrella style" strollers and the shop owner actually recommended this one. She said the higher priced ones had a slightly smoother ride and might weigh slightly less but that this one would be the best value, and she was right. I don't tote the thing around - I move it from the car to the ground and back, and hand it to the flight attendant when traveling, so the extra 3 pounds is nothing. As for the ride, the difference was barely noticeable in the store. I've read reviews on here saying that people have smashed their fingers because the stroller started opening when they picked it up, but if you fold it properly there is a latch that prevents the stroller from opening until you release that latch. Others say the canopy doesn't stay on but I've never had a problem with mine. As for the basket size, I load that up and hang extras from the handles and I've never not had enough storage space. It steers easily with one hand and handles hard surfaces and grass easily because the front wheels can be locked so they don't swivel, so I've never had an issue with wobbling. The fabric is strong and easy to clean. I bought a UV sun shade extender to give full coverage when needed, and a little caddy that fits over the handles. This stroller needs nothing else other than a lock for those times you have to leave it unattended in public places (hello, Disneyland) because trust me, you'd be heartbroken if it got stolen. Sometimes I think people don't read the owner's manuals and they just don't know how to use their product.
