Ease Of Installation
Kid Weight Versatility

Child Comfort
Ease of use
The downside of this system is that you actually have four preset positions, and the shoulder straps will move until they either reach one of those points or your child's shoulders. If they haven't reached one of these preset points the straps may still be a bit loose. Also, if you loosen the straps every time you take the child out of the seat, it means that you have to re-adjust the harness height every time you place your child in the seat. Some parents have reported that the tabs can dig into the skin on the neck or back of the child, which can cause discomfort.
Small Cars Fit
Portability
Because of these reasons, the Evenflo Triumph is less travel-suitable in comparison to the Roundabout.

Great seat for the price
(Score 4/5)
I bought the Triumph as an "extra" seat (for babysitters, grandparents). I have a Britax Boulevard in my minivan and my husband has a Britax Marathon in his sedan. I love the Britax seats, but they carry a hefty pricetag! I decided to buy the Triumph after reading many positive reviews on Amazon and seeing the recommendation in Consumer Reports. The seat is very user-friendly (easy to adjust) and it's not quite as gigantic as the Britax seats (the Marathon eats up my husband's whole back seat!). I didn't give it 5 stars because it doesn't seem quite as comfortable as the other cars seats I own. But all in all I would highly recommend this product, especially for the price - I paid $105 on Amazon!

Tough for rear facing
(Score 4/5)
I like the way this seat fits my 6 mth old chunky man. I don't like the method of tightening and loosening the straps. Because the knobs are on the side, it is into the side of my actual passenger seat padding (I have a Honda Odyssey) and it's very difficult to tighten and loosen. We couldn't even fit it in my husband's newer Civic rear facing only because of the knobs!
I think when this seat is forward facing it will be fine, so we are dealing with it for now. Sigh.

Must have car seat
(Score 5/5)
We absolutely love this car seat. We bought two of them so we don't have to worry about lugging them from car to car. (the biggest complaint I read was that they are too heavy) Easy to adjust, easy to install and very comfortable for our son. I have already recommended this to several people I know. Great value for what you get.

Just what I was looking for
(Score 5/5)
We needed a larger seat since our daughter grew out of her infant seat's weight limit. I did a lot of research and this seat was given high ratings with Consumer Reports. The price was very reasonable. I love how the shoulder strap is easily adjustable from the front, that the straps are tightened by turning a dial on the side of the seat, that the seat cover is easily removable for washing, and that there is a crumb catcher right under where the baby sits. I will be keeping this seat rear-facing as long as I can. So far, my daughter really seems comfy. You should buy this seat!

Replaced First Years True Fit, so happy!
(Score 5/5)
I'll admit I have only had this car seat (the DLX model) for a few days. But it replaced my First Years True Fit, which I got rid of after a minor car accident. This seat is 1000 times better and fixed every problem I had with the True Fit
The True Fit never felt stable, was hard to get on, was hard to adjust, sat up too straight, and was hard to install. After the accident, we bought the Evenflo Triumph DLX and LOVE it.
- It's easy to install
- It feels very secure and does not wiggle one bit
- It's easy to strap him in
- It's easy to adjust the straps
- It reclines more, so his head doesn't fall over when he sleepsHe goes in and out easily.
I am so happy to have the Triumph (mine is technically the DLX), and so happy to be rid of my First Years True Fit!!

We love this car seat!
(Score 5/5)
This is a great car seat! We bought it because it was listed on a website to fit our minivan (we previously had problems with our other car seat fitting behind the passenger seat in our van rear-facing. It is much nicer than the Alpha Omega and Gracos we own. We purchased it because one of the colors was on clearance, which made it a great value and we're hooked. I wish we could afford to replace all of our carseats with this one (we have 4, 2 in each vehicle). It is easy to install and my son loves it. Britax thought of a lot of small things that make using this car seat much easier.

If you want a rear-facing seat for a long tim
(Score 3/5)
I am a HUGE fan of Britax. I have had my 16 month old daughter in a Marathon since she was 10 months. I am very passionate about rear-facing to the max weight. I ordered the roundabout for a trip because I thought it would be a little easier to lug around the airport than my daughters Marathon. Also we are pregnant and I figured we could use this for baby #2. When I got the seat I instantly loved it. The Onyx color looks nice..the fabric feels nice and would clean up easily. Here's the problem...my daughter is 16 months now and weighs only 22 pounds. This carseat sits rear-facing up to 35 pounds. She is only 25% for her height and she is at the max height for rear-facing in this seat. They can only sit rear-facing when there is 1 inch or more from the top of the seat to the top of their head. Sure, she can use it now, but obviously she would never make it to 35 pounds rear-facing. So basically this is a great seat, however, if you are concerned about having your child rear-facing as long as possible (which you should..type in rear-facing vs. forward facing on youtube and see the crash test results...if that doesnt convince you I dont know what will) this is not the seat for you. Go with the Marathon. My daughter has at least 4-5 inches left in her Marathon for rear-facing. Plus the marathon goes to 65 pounds forward-facing where the roundabout goes to 40. The roundabout is great for smaller cars so you have to do what you have to do. Just thought maybe this would help someone. I wish I had known this before. I returned the Roundabout to Amazon (which they are awesome with returns). I will lug her marathon on the trip and be ordering another marathon for baby #2.
Good luck with your carseat choice. Whatever you get just make sure its installed properly. Take the time to take it to a certified station where they can check your carseat installation. Also the chest clip goes at the armpits..not lower. I swear..I have yet to see any of my friends put their kids in the seat right. Its not worth it to not do it right.

Britax is great. The velcro on the straps is a super nice feature that I didn't realize I was missing in our other convertible. We have this rear facing, and it works much better than the other one at this also. No cup holders, which I would like.

Great Car Seat

This car seat has been wonderful. We have only had the seat for a few months but the true test was a 20 hr drive to Florida and a 20 hr drive home. We drove straight through both ways and my daughter was super comfortable and HAPPY. She did great going both ways and the level of recline was perfect for her to get good sleep in the seat. We plan to use this with baby number two as well who will be joining us in the next 6 months.

Very satisfied

This product is very well reviewed, and it met all my expectations. One of the highlights is that WHEN (not if) a child falls asleep in this their head doesn't slump foreward. It is extremely easy to install and tightens best when putting your adult weight into it with a knee in the seat. I wish it came w/ a cup holder, but there are probably suitable aftermarket add-ons that would work just fine.
