Transfer speeds are not the best, but for people that don't need to transfer large amounts of data all the time should be good. However, the speed is good for the size of hard drive. It is very small and light, only a little bigger than a smart phone. Also the one USB cord for power and data transfer makes the device ultra portable, which makes it perfect for travel.

Bought this as a emergency replacement for my last hard drive, a western digital my passport essential which is suffering from the well-known click-of-death syndrome. This toshiba is smaller, feels sturdy and has a bigger capacity. and hopefully last longer than a WD does.

i own, and is totally i want, the price is a litle hier, but its ok, because you dont need conet the driver to an external energy force, just connect the usb cable to your computer and thats it, easy to take any where, i deeply recomended.

Great size, it's really small and weights almost nothing. I used to own a Seagate HD and it was so heavy and big. It's not so fast, but maybe its because i have it almost full. I strongly recommend it.

Not very exciting but it does what it needs to for a good price. I generally wipe out all of the built in software so I have no comments on what is installed. The data transfer speed could be faster but what can you expect for this much storage at a low price.
