Protect Your Weber!!!

Protect your investment when you aren't cooking on it. This cover is only $10 and fits the Q grill perfectly! I would highly recommend this cover, and make sure you order the correct size. The cover for the Q200 series is quite a bit larger than the cover for the Q100 series...just an FYI.
Enjoy!

Grill stays dry in torrential rain!

I have left my grill outside, exposed to the elements as sort of a test and this cover kept it bone dry. We have been getting heavy downpours here in the Catskills and it met the test! The cover is well designed and of excellent quality--befitting a Weber product!

Great Lil Weber

I love this electric grill. When it's just me and I want a steak, this is the perfect grill. It will cook about 4 at a time, but not so large to use for just me. I will purchase this again, when and if mine ever goes out.

Grat little grill
(Score 5/5)
I bought this grill as a graduation present, for myself in 2007 and I love it. I have used it many times and have not had a problem. It's a good size. I was contemplating getting the bigger size. I ended up getting this one because of a limitation of funds. I have been more than pleased with the size. I was a little concerned about the heat distribution because of the size, but I have found it to be excellent. It gets screaming hot quickly. I am among the reviewers that has not washed the grates and have no problems with sticking or rust. This is the best grill for its size.
There are some negative reviews that may mislead people. Rest assured, Weber does warranty their grill. What kind of grill manufacture would not, but who is expecting a manufacture to warranty the grill for three years against grease fires? That's more of a user problem. I have never had any problems with grease fires. If the grill is greasy I do something novel...I clean it. This leads to the second negative review that has me perplexed...low burner flames. If the burners are putting out weak flames or dying "the grill must be faulty". Why not clean the burners, replacing if necessary, replace the propane tank, clean the hose or fitting before blaming the grill? The grill gets hot, the food leaves grease and ash. Grease attracts dirt and clogs things. Ash is very acidic and needs to be removed before rust develops.
Take simple steps (and obvious steps) and you will be like the "most helpful reviewer": a proud Weber Baby Q Grill owner for years to come.
This is a great grill...you won't be disappointed.

A great little Weber for the RV lifestyle

This grill is not used on a regular basis, however when we cook outdoors while on RV trips, this is perfect. It is compact & fits easily in the basement storage compartment of a motorhome. Plenty of BTUs.

Best small grill around!
(Score 5/5)
I've had the Baby Q for five years and it's still running strong, outside of the paint on the cover and I now have to light it manually. It's got anawesome cast iron grill that heats up quick and cooks anything very well. Very portable and is easily out of the way when not in use. The only drawback is that if you have to cook for more than about 5-6 people it's a little small. But that's the point, right? Great for my small porch and the fold up table turns it into a pull cart for tailgating.

Fine Grill
(Score 4/5)
I have had this grill several years now. I use it for camping. At the time I bought it, competitors either did not have open flame design (they were griddles masquerading as a bbq) or were significant larger and even heavier (e.g. they often include fold up legs).
It is well made, and I have not had any problems whatsoever, and I am completely satisfied. I graded at 4 stars instead of 5 because of the relatively low heat level. Steaks can be seared after several minutes of initial warm up. I can not remember using any heat setting other than "high."
One common complaint is that it uses 14 oz. propane cylinders. These are readily available in hardware stores in the section with soldering torches and supplies. (This was true even in a Ace Hardware store in Bishop, CA that sells the Baby Q!)

Weber does not warranty their grills!
(Score 1/5)
I have always held Weber to a certain standard that included their product and customer service until the first and last time I had to deal with their customer service.
Here is my story:
I had a party the other day where I grilled up eight amazing rib eyes. Unfortunately the fat from the steaks left a lot of residue on Weber 386002 Q-100 Portable Gas Grillthe grill and in the grease pan. When I was done grilling I turned off the propane and allowed the grease to burn off the grill when it continued to burn and then before i knew it the grill was on fire. Never experiencing this before, I called up Weber and said that 3 years after my purchase the grill does not warranty grease fire damage (strange for a bbq?). Their best solution was for me to buy a grill from them at cost, which is roughly the cost at amazon.
Needless to say I will never buy a Q bbq again and I have regrets on buying my other Weber genesis. Maybe this is the time to go to charcoal exclusively.
